Plea bargain agreements

(Note: All cases below are felonies unless otherwise noted.)

Those pleading guilty and accepting punishment include:

• Nehemiah Armstrong, 30, of 1717 Briar Lane in Wharton for two counts of possession of a controlled substance in January 2015 and three counts of abandoning or endangering a child in May 2016 as well as a single count of possession of a controlled substance. He was sentenced to 18 months in state jail with credit for 552 days already served.

• Gilberto Guzman Alvarado Jr., 50, address unavailable, for driving while intoxicated third or more offense in July. He was sentenced to two years in prison with credit for 141 days already served.

• Jeremy Peyton Barron, 21, of 1219 Harrison in Wharton for theft of a firearm in May. He was placed on three years deferred probation, fined $500 and ordered to perform 20 hours community service.

With deferred probation, the conviction won’t be held against Barron if he is able to complete all terms.

• Richard Castillo Jr., 46, of 6117.5 E. Sunnyside in Houston for two counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child in February 2013. He was sentenced to eight years in prison and ordered to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life. His victim was nine years old. Castillo received credit for 604 days already served.

• Michelle Renae Davila, 39, of Rosenberg for driving while intoxicated third or more offense in April. She was placed on five years probation on the condition she serve 10 days in county jail, ordered to perform 200 hours community service and have an alcohol monitoring device placed on her vehicle and pay a $1,000 fine.

She received credit for the 10 days already served.

• Joel Gonzalez Deases, 55, of 701 Divide in El Campo for manufacturing or delivery of a controlled substance in January 2016 and two counts of injury to a child in November 2014. He was sentenced to two years in prison for the offenses.

Deases received credit for 342 days already served.

• Valerie Raeann Delgado, 19, of 349 Lakeview in El Campo for possession of a controlled substance in March. She was placed on three years deferred probation, fined $750, ordered to perform 125 hours community service and pay $180 restitution.

• Christopher Ambrose Garcia, 34, of 1105 Acosta in El Campo for burglary of a habitation in September 2016 and theft of a firearm in April. He was sentenced to five years in prison with credit for 306 days already served.

• David Gonzales, 63, of 18 Serena in El Campo for driving while intoxicated third or more offense in June 2016. He was placed on six years probation on the condition he serve 10 days in county jail. Gonzales was ordered to perform 60 hours community service, have an interlock device placed on his vehicle to monitor alcohol levels, pay a $2,000 fine and $120 restitution.

Gonzales received credit for seven days already served.

• Rico Casanova Gonzales, 23, of 621 Bell in Wharton for unauthorized use of a vehicle in October 2016 and injury to a child causing reckless bodily injury. He was sentenced to 14 months in state jail.

Gonzales received credit for 387 days already served.

• John Garza Gussman, 63, of 2470 Hwy. 59 in La Grange for indecency with a child by sexual contact in December 2015. He was sentenced to five years in prison with credit for 95 days already served.

• Roger Bernard Johnson, 43, of 621 CR 245 in Wharton for possession of a controlled substance in September. He was sentenced to 53 days in state jail with credit for the full time already served.

• Rene Alberto Orta, 29, of 402 E. Emily in Wharton for assault family violence in January and possession of a controlled substance in May. He was sentenced to three years in prison with credit for 195 days already served.

• Donavan Latrose Richardson, 32, of 601 Correll in Wharton for burglary of a building in May. He was sentenced to 180 days in sate jail and ordered to pay $3,315 restitution.

Richardson received credit for 161 days already served.

• Stephan Singleton, 57, listed as homeless in Wharton, for theft with two or more previous convictions in March. He was sentenced to nine months in state jail with credit for 256 days already served.

• Choncy Stahl, 26, of 22102 Lakeland Gardens in Katy for possession of a controlled substance in August 2016. He was placed on two years deferred adjudication, fined $250 and perform 60 hours community service restitution.
