(Note: All cases below are felonies unless otherwise noted.)

Those pleading guilty and accepting punishment include:

• Jon Eric Barker, 41, of 1415 W. Norris in El Campo for possession of a controlled substance on Aug. 9, 2017. He was sentenced to nine months in state jail with credit for 215 days already served. The judge also ordered Barker to pay $300 restitution.

• Darnell Demontae Conner, 21, of 1301 Kingston, Apt. B, in Wharton for attempting to evade arrest with a vehicle on Dec. 19, 2017. He was sentenced to nine months in state jail with credit for 85 days already served.

A misdemeanor charge of resisting arrest was dropped as part of the plea bargain.

Conner’s previous conviction for theft on Jan. 23, 2017 was adjudicated on the same day. For that crime he was sentenced to a concurrent nine months in state jail with credit for 113 days already served.

• Robert Gutierrez, 33, of 513 W. Caney in Wharton for possession of a controlled substance on March 22, 2017. He was sentenced to nine months in state jail with credit for 218 days already served.

• Tyrese Eugene Holmes, age unavailable, of 131 N. Live Oak in Glen Flora for theft of cattle or livestock under $150,000 in value and criminal mischief on Nov. 9, 2017. He was placed on four years deferred probation and ordered to perform 120 hours community service. The judge also required Holmes to pay $2,650 restitution.

Misdemeanor charges of cruelty to livestock and criminal trespass were dropped as a result of the pleas.

With deferred probation, the convictions won’t be held against Holmes if he is able to complete all terms.

• James Earl Johnson, 51, of 201 S. Liberty in El Campo for attempted non-compliance with a sex offender’s duty to register on March 23, 2017. He was sentenced to 120 days in county jail.

• Michael Dean Joyner, 54, of 1101 Chapel Lane in El Campo for attempted non-compliance with a sex offender’s duty to register on May 25, 2016. He was sentenced to 120 days in county jail.

• Bryan Bernard Kulhanek, 25, of 2125 CR 291 in East Bernard for injury to a child on April 20, 2015. He was placed on five years deferred probation on the condition he serve 30 days in county jail. The judge also ordered him to stay away from his victims, perform 80 hours community service, play a $100 fine and $2,500 restitution.

Kulhanek must turn himself in on Aug. 1, 2018 or face adjudication.

• Kenneth Ray McClain Jr., 55, of 1216 Muncy in El Campo for attempted injury to a child, elderly or disabled person causing serious bodily injury, a Class A misdemeanor, on Oct. 10, 2014. He was placed on 12 months deferred probation, fined $100 and ordered to obtain counseling for chemical dependence and anger management. Three other charges were dismissed as a result of the plea.

The cause also notes 90 days credit for time served although no jail time was specified in the plea agreement.

• Kenneth Ray McClain Jr., 21, 1314 Ella in El Campo for assault causing injury, a Class A misdemeanor, on March 10, 2015. He was sentenced to five days in county jail with credit for the full time already served.

• Jesse Manciaz, 67, of 526 CR 267 South in Eagle Lake for attempted non-compliance with a sex offender’s duty to register on Oct. 7, 2015. He was sentenced to 120 days in county jail.

• Jonray Andrew Pineda, 18, of 4742 Barrera in Corpus Christi for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and evading arrest with a vehicle on Jan. 20. He was placed on three years deferred probation on the condition he serve 51 days in county jail which he was credited for that day.

The judge also fined Pineda $2,000, ordered to perform 120 hours community service and pay $500 restitution. A misdemeanor charge was dismissed as a result of the pleas.

• Noe Puentes Jr., age unavailable, of 509 Ave. B in El Campo for burglary of a habitation on Oct. 16, 2017. He was placed on two years deferred probation on the condition he serve a single day in county jail.

Puentes received credit for already serving the day.

• Stephanie Marie Ragston, 34, of 1717 Briar Lane, Apt. 6, in Wharton for possession of a controlled substance on Aug. 7, 2016. She was placed on two years deferred probation, ordered to perform 48 hours community service, obtain substance abuse counseling, pay a $100 fine and $180 restitution.

• Laurie Ann Ramirez, 44, of 501 Roland Lane, No. 60, in Kyle for possession of a controlled substance on April 12, 2017. She was placed on four years deferred probation on the condition she serve four days in county jail. The judge also ordered Ramirez to pay a $1,000 fine, perform 200 hours community service and pay $180 restitution.

She received credit for the full jail time already served.

• Anthony Corey Solis, 22, of 805 Empire in El Campo for possession of a controlled substance on Nov. 10, 2016. He was placed on two years deferred probation on the condition he serve a single day in county jail. As a result, all misdemeanor charges were dismissed.

Solis received credit for the day already served.

• Larry David Tanner, 24, of 111 Bryan in Boling for sexual assault of a child on Aug. 6, 2016. He was placed on 10 years deferred probation for the crime against a 16-year-old child. The judge also ordered Tanner to perform 120 hours community service, pay a $2,000 fine and register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
