Efren Rodriguez-Mendez, 34, of 1009 Ellwood was arrested at 9:24 p.m. Wednesday, May 22 for driving while intoxicated second offense and no driver’s license after being stopped in the 100 block of North Wharton. Processed, he was transferred to the Wharton County Jail the next day. Once there, he posted $3,750 in bonds and was released the same day.

Richard Perry Keller, 25, of 609 Dorothy was arrested at 3:36 p.m. Friday, May 24 on warrants for running a stop sign, failing to signal at a proper distance before a turn, failure to appear and possession of a restricted smoking material. Processed, he was transferred to county jail the next day.

Nathan Christopher Hand, 39, of 2210 Rita was arrested at 12:24 a.m. Saturday, May 25 for driving while intoxicated second offense after being stopped in the 2500 block of Hwy. 71. Processed, he was transferred to county jail later that day. Once there, he posted a $2,500 bond and was released the same day.

Property

Tara Lynn Parker, 40, of 3412.5 Fairway in Wharton was arrested at noon Wednesday, May 22 on a Williamson County warrant for securing a document valued at more than $20,000 by deception. Processed, she was transferred to county jail the next day.

City Incidents

Property

Burglars struck a home in the 800 block of Hayden on May 16 stealing clothing and debit cards.

A case of identity theft was discovered at Prosperity Bank, 1301 N. Mechanic, on May 22.

A hit-and-run was reported on the grounds of El Campo High School, 600 W. Norris, between 9:30 and 10 p.m. Friday, May 24. Damage was estimated at $1,000.

Torre L. Robinson, 41, of 1308 Short was booked at 10:10 a.m. Thursday, May 23 on a warrant for driving while intoxicated second offense.

Markez Ray Sanchez, 23, of 1901 Palm Village in Bay City was arrested at 10:12 p.m. Thursday, May 23 for remaining in a park after hours and a warrant for possession of marijuana. Processed, he posted $3,250 in bonds and was released the next day.

Christian Jeremiah Garcia, 17, of 310 Lincoln was booked at 9 a.m. Thursday, May 23 for manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana. Processed, he posted $46,000 in bonds and was released the next day.

Ann Marie Manzano, 40, of 310 Lincoln was booked at 9 a.m. Thursday, May 23 for possession of a controlled substance in a drug free zone and possession of a controlled substance.

Devonte Breon Ballard, 26, of 7010 Stonewall Ridge in Richmond was arrested by sheriff’s deputies at 9:53 a.m. Saturday, May 25 for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Processed, he posted $2,000 in bonds and was released the next day.

Slade Ryan Long, 28, of 4311 Hwy. 71 North was arrested by WCSO at 1:32 p.m. Saturday, May 25 for possession of a controlled substance. Processed, he posted a $15,000 bond and was released Monday.

Felicia Renee Randle, 34, of 4408 Hiram Brandon, No. 12, in Bay City was arrested by state troopers at 6:15 p.m. Saturday, May 25 on a Fort Bend County warrant for driving while intoxicated and charges of having an unrestrained child and expired driver’s license.

Jesus Miguel Vazquez, 26, of 509 Oscar was arrested by WCSO at 1:05 a.m. Saturday, May 25 for possession of a controlled substance. Processed, he posted a $5,000 bond and was released the same day.

Dagoberto Sapien Rodriguez, 45, of 7738 Hwy. 71 North in Garwood was arrested by WCSO at 9:20 p.m. Monday, May 27 for possession of a controlled substance, expired registration, open contain violation and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Harley Davis Marlow, 40, of P.O. Box 1051 in Wharton was arrested by sheriff’s deputies at 2:36 a.m. Tuesday, May 28 for possession of a controlled substance.

Gloria Sue Munoz, 23, of 235 Duckett was booked at 1:05 a.m. Saturday, May 25 on warrants for credit or debit card abuse and evading arrest with a vehicle.

Sebastian Valentyn Boggus, 19, listed as homeless in El Campo, was booked at 7:26 a.m. Saturday, May 25 on a warrant for theft and charges of possession of marijuana and an unspecified Class C misdemeanor.

Kameron Dale Coplen, 18, of 412 E. Jackson was booked at 7:26 p.m. Saturday, May 25 on a warrant for theft.

Violence, weapons

Micaela Zavala, 26, of 209 W. Alfred was booked at 6:25 a.m. Thursday, May 23 on warrants for two counts of assault with injury. Processed, she posted $4,000 in bonds and was released the same day.

Max Earl Brod, 57, of 10331 FM 442 in Boling was arrested by WCSO at 5:46 a.m. Tuesday, May 28 for assault family violence.

Other

Gerardo Vazquez-Rodriguez, 27, of Tamulipas, Mexico was arrested by sheriff’s deputies at 11:43 p.m. Thursday, May 23 for evading arrest with a vehicle, smuggling of persons and unauthorized use of a vehicle.

Andrew Rivera Martinez, 33, of 109 W. Alfred was arrested by state troopers at 1:55 a.m. Saturday, May 25 for racing on the highway. Processed, he posted a $1,500 bond and was released the same day.

William Marshall Tomlinson, 19, of 1201 Quail Hollow was arrested by DPS at 1:55 a.m. Saturday, May 25 for racing on the highway. Processed, he posted a $1,500 bond and was released the same day.
