Alcohol, drugs

Pedro Cura-Hernandez, 22, of 1422 Jennie was arrested at 7:29 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28 for possession of marijuana after being stopped on Fahrenthold. Processed, he was transferred to the Wharton County Jail the next morning. Once there, he posted a $2,500 bond and was released the same day.

Dwayne Keith Bledsoe, 23, of 315 Olive was arrested at 1:24 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29 for theft of a firearm, unlawfully carrying a weapon, possession of marijuana and failure to maintain financial responsibility. Police were dispatched to a minor crash on Heights Street and discovered Bledsoe there. Processed, he was transferred to county jail the next morning.

Property

Aundreya Janee Gonzales, 19, of 709 Main was arrested at 5:55 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29 on two warrants for credit or debit card abuse. Already at the county jail, she was processed there. Gonzales posted $5,000 in bonds and was released the same day.

Keion Eugene Caesar, 21, of 611 Main was arrested at 12:51 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29 on a warrant for credit or debit card abuse. Already at the jail, he was processed there.

Jessie Rene Gonzalez, 19, of 304 Palm was arrested at 10:12 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29 on a warrant for theft. Processed, he was transferred to county jail.

Other

Kevin Kyle Weiss, 30, of 1101 Chapel was arrested at 3:10 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28 for violation of a bond or protective order. Already at the county jail, he was processed there.

City Incidents

Property

A clothes washer was reported stolen from the 1000 block of East Calhoun between Nov. 23 and 25. Loss is estimated at $150.

A forgery was reported at Pinchers, 23324, U.S. 59. The crime took place on Monday, Nov. 27.

Vandals damaged the door and trunk of a vehicle parked in the 300 block of Avenue G sometime between 11 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28 and 8 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29. Damage is estimated at $1,000.

A Toyota was reported stolen from the 2400 block of Hancock Lane between 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29 and 7:14 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 30. Loss is estimated at $17,000.

Vandals did minor damage at the site of the former Bon L Campo Aluminum plant, 902 Gladys, around 8:50 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29.

Violence, weapons

Police are investigating a report of injury to an elderly person via negligence. The crime was reported directly at the station involving treatment of a person between Jan. 1 and June 30.

Harassment was reported in the 1900 block of Kirby, taking place between Nov. 16 and 28.

An assault report was filed at Dollar General, 1501 N. Mechanic, around 12:40 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29. No injuries were reported.

Property

Burglars struck a home in the 1100 block of North Liberty on Nov. 23.

A Chevrolet Silverado 1500 valued at $10,000 was reported stolen from the 1400 block of Jennie on Nov. 24.
