Alcohol, drugs

Robert Earl Barnes, 32, of 603 N. Washington was arrested at 9:10 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14 for evading arrest with a vehicle, possession of drug paraphernalia and no driver’s license. Officers ultimately arrested him in Midfield. Processed, Barnes was transferred to county jail the next day.

Abryanna Lynn Cardoza, 20, of 1610 S. Mechanic was arrested at 9:10 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14 for having a prohibited substance in a correctional facility (drugs), possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia in relation to the same case as Barnes. Processed, she was transferred to the Wharton County Jail the next day.

William Avie Savant, 32, of Bryan was arrested at 12:09 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 15 for driving while intoxicated second offense after being stopped on West Second. Processed, he was transferred to county jail later that day. Once there, he posted bond and was released the next day.

Property

Christopher Earl Parson, 31, of 103 Ripple was arrested at 7:23 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14 on warrants for robbery and criminal trespass. He stands accused of burglarizing an unlocked home in the 500 block of Lundy on Oct. 24. Parson was processed and transferred to county jail the next day.

Other

Tamall Christopher Terrell, 23, of 1301 N. Liberty was arrested at 9:17 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 15 for evading arrest, resisting arrest and public intoxication after fleeing from a police investigation at Oakcrest Apartments, 1415 W. Norris. Processed, he was transported to the county jail the next morning.

City Incidents

Property

A report of forgery discovered at Ritz Food Mart 2, 1120 W. Jackson, is under investigation. The crime took place between April 24 and Sept. 17.

A $700 cellphone was reported stolen at Fitzpatrick Tubing Services, 311 S. Meadow Lane. The crime, which took place Oct. 30, was reported Nov. 15.

Vandals damaged five tires in the 900 block of East between 7:30 a.m. and 1:50 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 16. Loss is estimated at $1,000.

County Jail Bookings

Whitney Denice Washington, 25, of 1410 Jennie was booked at 9:25 p.m. Monday, Nov. 13 for possession of a controlled substance and marijuana, both drug free zone with the intent to transfer.

Desmonia Jonaye Curry, 31, of 711 College was booked at 2:44 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 15 on warrants for injury to a child, elderly or disabled person (recklessness causing serious bodily injury), possession of a controlled substance and obstruction or retaliation.

Halston Lavan Hayes, 30, of 7703 U.S. 59 Business in Hungerford was arrested at 12:58 a.m. Friday, Nov. 17 for assault family violence, two counts of interfering with an emergency call for help, possession of marijuana and terroristic threat to a family or household.

Property

Bianca Marie Arriaga, 25, of 306 CR 187 in Boling was booked at 3:11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 13 on warrants for fraudulent effort to destroy, remove or conceal a document and theft with a previous conviction. Processed, she posted $4,500 in bonds and was released the same day.

Quade Evan Chambless, 30, of Angleton was booked at 11:40 a.m. Monday, Nov. 14 for theft with two or more previous convictions and having a prohibited substance in a correctional facility as well as Brazoria County warrants for theft and driving while license invalid.

Tyrese Eugene Holmes, 18, of 131 N. Live Oak in Glen Floria was booked at 8:27 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 15 on warrants for livestock theft under $150,000 in value, criminal mischief, cruelty to livestock animals and criminal trespass.

Kalieb Brice Benge, 26, of Oyster Creek was booked at 6:20 a.m. Friday, Nov. 17 on a warrant for poaching.

Violence, weapons

Johnathon Wayne Morton, 32, of 6703 Gwyneth in Boling was arrested at 10:35 a.m. Nov. 14 for assault family violence.

Other

Kevin Louis Stafford, 36, of 7315 Eron Lane in Texas City was looked at 9:28 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14 on a warrant for criminal nonsupport.
