Gary Caraway

Gary Caraway passed away April 20, 2019 in Katy at the age of 65. He was born Aug. 11, 1953 in El Campo to Glen and Betty Childress Caraway. He was a member of First Baptist Church in East Bernard where he served as Deacon for many years. Gary was the former owner of Movie Time Video and Portable Building Sales in El Campo. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing and hunting.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Elolf Caraway of East Bernard; son, Clayton Caraway of New Braunfels; daughter, Erin Caraway Gregory (Joshua) of New Braunfels ; brother, Chris Caraway of El Campo; sisters, Sandy Caraway Howard (Ricky) of El Campo, Vicki Caraway Vackar (Louis) of Fulshear and granddaughter, Harper Gregory.

Visitation will be from 5 - 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 24 at Wheeler Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 25 at First Baptist Church in East Bernard with Pastor Walter Sensat officiating. Burial will follow at Myrtle Cemetery in Rock Island.

In lieu of floral donations, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of East Bernard Building Fund in memory of Gary Caraway. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Wheeler Funeral Home in El Campo.
