Josephine Soliz

Josephine Soliz, 93, of El Campo, passed away June 2, 2020. She was born Jan. 7,1927 in Glen Flora to Pablo and Franchesca Garcia Rodriguez.

She is survived by her daughters, Carman Cordova, Rosa Reyes and Vicky Limas, all of El Campo; sons, Domingo Soliz and wife Laura of Blessing, Pete Soliz and wife Estella of Clute, Joe Soliz and wife Pat of Richmond, Martin Soliz and wife Carol of Seabrook, Alex Soliz and Rudy Soliz, both of El Campo; 27 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; Christy Soliz and Reuben Limas, both of El Campo and brother, Acension Rodriguez and wife Henrietta of El Campo.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Juan Soliz; son, Richard Soliz; granddaughter, Frances Reyes Matula; sons-in-law, Paul Cordova and Joe Reyes; brother, Trino Rodriguez and sister, Lupe Soliz.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Friday, June 5 at St. Robert’s Catholic Church with a Rosary to be held at 5:30 p.m. Funeral services will be 9 a.m. Saturday, June 6 at St. Robert’s Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Domingo Soliz, Jr., Michael Molano, Roland Reyes, Justin Soliz, Jason Soliz, and Zanne Soliz. Honorary will be Edward Soliz and David Soliz.
