The gates of heaven opened up this Easter Sunday, April 21, 2019 for Elias “Al” Jasso Jr. He was born June 7, 1957 in El Campo to Elias Sr. and Mary Jasso. He was a production manager for Gourmet Table Skirts and Linens in Houston. He was owner of Al’s Sewing and Vacuum Center in El Campo for over 30 years.

He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Irma Soto Jasso; mother, Mary Jasso; mother-in-law, Elida Soto; sons, Christopher Jasso (Tisa), Craig Jasso (Jennifer), Kevin Jasso, Ryan Greenhaw, Jonathon Greenhaw; sisters, Mary Diana Pena (Mauro), Dolly Aguilar (Domingo) Michelle Gonzales (Anthony); seven grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Elias Jasso Sr.; grandmother, Petra Gonzales; father-in-law, Damacio Soto and brother-in-law, Tony Gonzales Jr.

Visitation begins at 5 p.m. Thursday, April 25 at Wheeler Funeral Home with a Rosary beginning at 6 p.m. Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday, April 26 at Wheeler Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life service at American Legion Hall in El Campo beginning at 10:30 a.m. with burial to follow at La Colonia Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Wheeler Funeral Home in El Campo.
